Courtney [2012-10-29 01:59:38]
What a jumper..the look kinda reminds of the Richard Linklater movies circa 90's where people just sat around, hung out in cars and in parks outside the super, and generally just did nothing. Love it.

Our 70s. [2012-10-25 01:49:20]
What was the biggest trend during 70s in the West? Flared trousers. What was everybody wearing all the time during the same era in the Communist countries? Grey Tunic suit. Let's combine these 2 trends together, then it was our 70s style situations under these two of Ideological confrontation. It was an absolutely crazy era for the whole world.

Rocket Science [2012-10-23 04:22:03]
We’ve been talking about the intricate art of investment dressing around here lately, and I’ve loved hearing all of your thoughts on the topic. While it’s far from a science ~ what is essential in one climate is useless in another ~ the underlying tenet is that it’s valuable to consider carefully what we buy and why.

Heavy Knit [2012-10-22 02:19:25]
I am back with a new outfit post. I know it has been a while, but with all the school projects I just couldn't fiend the time to make some pictures for you guys. But I hope I can make up for it with this new heavy knit inspired look. If you saw my previous inspiration post, you by now have to know that I am obsessed with knitwear. A great fashion statement for winter and it's so soft and warm!Oh.. I am testing out a new header by the way, do you guys like it?

Best Score [2012-10-20 01:35:22]
Graphic artist and designer Simeon Farrar has launched Black Score, a company selling his own line of slogan t-shirts. And they’re completely brilliant. Referencing the elite of fashion designers, the tees have hilarious slogans such as “You had me at Prada” and “Totes jel of my Chanel?” I particularly like the one that says “Tom Ford is my homeboy”. As well as the slogans, there are some of his illustrations on a variety of t-shirts as well.

V is for vamp & valentino [2012-10-19 01:55:22]
Girls, discover your inner rock star – that seems to be the idea behind these vamp-tastic shoes designed by Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pierpaolo Piccioli for Valentino. What I like most: they are fragile and hard-hitting at the same time. And if that’s not a fitting symbol for the „Women’s Decade”, I don’t know what is.

seventy′s Stunner! [2012-10-16 01:51:01]
How could you not love this amazing 70′s number by cult label Eleven Paris, currently in the Urban Outfitters sale for a mere £35? It has all those ingredients that made the 70′s the decade that good taste forgot; scantily clad dancers, with bad hair and terrible eyebrows, either side of a blonde….er…..if I say ‘hunk’ can I mean it in the loosest possible meaning of the word? Pretty please?

Chanel Powder Blush #72 Rose Initiale [2012-10-15 01:53:11]
The Rose Initiale powder blush is Chanel’s Fall 2012 addition to their blush collection and this is a permanent shade, not a limited edition. Chanel describes Rose Initiale as a universally flattering blush for all skin tones and I couldn’t agree more! In my opinion it’s a perfect pink, not too cool and not too warm.

Isabel Marant Spring 2013 Bags: Can not Help Falling in Love [2012-10-13 01:50:00]
One of Isabel Marant’s best collections to date produced heavy-hitting bags. Vegas-inspired Elvis ones (aptly named Linda, Lesly, and Laura), to be exact. I had bags very similar in the late ‘80s/early ‘90s, and now I wish I had never gotten rid of them! Her ability to take something dated and spin it into an up to the moment must-have is not unlike that of early Marc Jacobs. Bejeweled and bedazzled bags, which only last season many declared to be passé (giving way to the stark and sleek, as shown at Celine), are now on the minds of the most fashion forward. Isabel Marant is the anti-Phoebe Philo, and we like it just fine.

Long Jacket Theory: Do you even require pants? [2012-10-12 01:48:21]
I think not. Tights is what we'll need for this (should the weather get chilly or your legs are less than smooth). Love the Paul & Joe Sister jacket. It's a classic double-breasted shape, slightly exaggerated, in a beautiful gem colored green. It's just subtle enough to make black look a little too boring. The rest of the accessories are no brainers to me: The Lulu Frost for J. Crew earrings and the Stubbs & Wootten loafers have been on my wish list for months! Make sure you check out that Carven dress. The back of it is to die for!
